Books are a huge money laundering business. If you looked into any politician's book's finances I can guarantee you'll find fraud.

Book deals are generally payouts for a job well done. Haven't really seen this tactic yet. I'm sure his donors will make up some justification so they don't have to face the fact they're all being duped.
