The US has been monitoring shadow fleet vessels transporting weapons and components from China to Iran. Just the fact that this ship tried to run the blockade after being told to turn back is a clue that there possibly is something onboard the regime desperately wants. A normal civilian cargo vessel would not do that. No indication as whether it was an outgoing or incoming vessel. I am assuming it was incoming if there was cargo onboard. With Iran it's usually oil out, cargo in.

Most recent port was in Port Klang, Malaysia (departed 4-12) while returning from Zhuhai (port), China
Malaysia is a common stop on the way from China to mask country of origin - which China does a lot especially to avoid sanctions and tariffs. Many items that make into the US still originate in China but are trans-shipped to other countries and relabeled.
It is now being reported that the ship was carrying duel use items such as chemical precursors for rocket fuel. IRGC was also onboard. Iran was testing the blockage and they needed the supplies. If that ship would have gotten through it would have been a huge propaganda win against the US.
A well run ship should always have cargo on board. It's expensive to run an empty ship!
Not sure what Iran would be shipping out. It is their vessel and it is sanctioned. Updates are saying it was an incoming vessel and was carrying duel use items such as chemical precursors for missile fuel. Looks like China has been caught red handed after Trump announced that Xi agreed not to send weapons. Not sure if there were manpads onboard. China had agreed to ship some to Iran. That would be finished weapons and not duel use items. Sounds to me like Trump is building a case here against the CCP.
He took China's Venezuelan oil and he stopped their Iran oil. He's definitely clamping down on China.
All part of the plan. Iran is dangerous, but who is propping Iran up? China. They also fund a great deal of the shenanigans taking place in the US and are working with Dems and RINOs to destroy the US. Trump may have been our last opportunity to turn this ship around and save the country.
