Im all for Jesus but I'll never understand why people want to worship and think of Jesus in this manner or wear a cross (an execution device) around their neck. I understand they want to remember his sacrifice for us but it just looks like you are a death cult. I'd rather remember Jesus doing good things while he is alive. I also dont like the idea of drinking his blood and eating his flesh with the Holy Communion. Call me what you like but I want to have a nicer image in my head of who Jesus is.

Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. In the words of Jesus, if you do not eat His flesh and drink His blood, you do not have everlasting life and have no part in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Christ rose from the dead. When will Christians focus on the resurrected and powerful Christ. Most of Gods family that Christ sacrificed for deny the power of the resurrection and cling to the sin and death. Returned straight to the yoke of bondage fearing the very death that Christ defeated. I serve THE Risen Savior.

I agree with you. The eating and drinking aspect has ALWAYS bothered me. Never liked it. No thanks.
