During the C-periods, there were several large demonstrations in Berlin. One of these involved a dozen elderly men staging what was dubbed the “Storming of the Reichstag”
This gave rise to the meme “The Coup of the walking frames.” (In deutsch Rollator)
It's all just hot air. The Bundeswehr lacks the necessary infrastructure. They can't generate the required data (everything's still on paper for the older generations), they can't get the older folks through the necessary physical fitness tests, and they don't have housing options for them (nursing barracks?).
Maybe we at GAW should suggest setting up a satire thread? :-))
And they were not the only ones.
