Honestly I'm cool with this in one specific scenario....
Price items based upon the shrink rate (shoplifting / theft) perpetrated by people of your skin color at that store.
If your people steal you pay more. If your people don't steal you pay less. If I see a white person stealing I'm gonna call it out to keep my prices down. Something they never do.
MAYBE that will encourage some self policing in their shitty communities.
I'm sick of paying higher prices because ghetto POS steal and drive up the prices for everyone else.
It could be challenged in court, but I don't think we'd win that challenge. We're being marched down the path of totalitarianism whether we want to be or not. That much is clear. The bigger question is how long will humanity allow it to happen before truly fighting back.
A rich dude and a poor dude walk i to a store and both purchase an identical item. The rich guy will pay more because the store has tracked him, thus even his bank account, so he can afford to pay more. The poor guy gets the lower price because he ain't got no money to begin with. Seems fair. But isn't America built on equity? So either the poor dude must pay more or the rich guy gets a break. That would be fair.
Regardless what it is called, depending on how it is implimented it can be highly illegal. Stores can get closed for doing this. Chains get sued for doing this. Get it reported.
Except they both live in different neighborhoods and shop at different stores, as far as I know. It’s possibly a poor guy and a middle class one visiting the store and the middle class one buys less because the store is stupid.
So they are saying their product has no innate worth that can be priced uniformly and fairly??
