What these asshats refer to as luck looks that way to them because they don't realize just how much we train. It's not luck, it's many, many years of hard training, discipline, and mental/emotional toughness that makes our military the best in human history. The strength of our military is why we've kept all 7 Continents safe from aggressive expansion by our enemies. They've tried multiple times, and even had to infiltrate our political system, our academic institutions, and the military itself to even come close to defeating us. Without doing that, all of the conflicts we've been involved in would never have lasted as long as they did. When our military is let off its chains properly, we've shown what it's capable of. Without inside infiltration and outside intervionist tactics meant to weaken our military and the American People's resolve, I'm certain those conflicts would've ended with clear cut victories in those countries and the world would be a much different and much safer place than it is.
Now I understand why I don't like Rand. Attributing years of strategizing, planning, training, coordinating. . . an immeasurable about of effort went into preparing these maneuvers devalued to "luck". What an idiot.
