No but you don't put gold in a zink refinery. Their are plenty of other places that do it. It would have to be done slowly, document the bars and their purity and so on....
I believe you are unaware of what they will be doing. But indeed our technology infrastructure is in a bit of disarray at the moment.
“Korea Zinc’s investment is a big win for our state, delivering jobs and investment to Middle Tennessee. The Smith County Nyrstar mine, which is just a few miles away from my farm, has been out of production since 2023. The mine contains rare earth minerals that are essential for the production of advanced military technology, which we are otherwise forced to source internationally."
"Korea Zinc is a world leading non-ferrous metal manufacturing company and a KOSPI-listed corporation. The company operates a diversified business portfolio spanning non-ferrous metal smelting and refining, strategic mineral-based materials manufacturing, renewable energy and green hydrogen projects, resource recycling, and secondary battery materials. Korea Zinc produces and supplies a broad portfolio of metals, including zinc, lead, and copper, precious metals such as gold and silver, and strategic metals including antimony, indium, bismuth, tellurium, gallium, and germanium."

But if I am producing very expensive metals I would try to minimize discussion of exactly how much and exact range of metals . Even if it's only 90 miles from Fort Knox 🤔
My grandparents and great grandparents refused to turn in their gold under FDR. They were from Russia and knew how that government confiscation agenda works. From what they said you could get in a lot of trouble if you were found to possess gold. I never knew what the penalty actually was for possession of gold. They left Russia when they started confiscating guns from the people prior to the Revolution. That is when my great grandfather said it was time to get the hell out. Once the people were disarmed it was easy for the Communists to overrun the country.
interesting heritage, they got to safety, and kept their gold!
one of my past friends had an aunt who kept 1 gold piece in pristine condition, and I think the $20 gold piece got valued numismatically as a rare date for $50,000
It's awesome that coin was valued at that price even after factoring in devaluation of currency.
It wasn't easy for them to get out of Russia and come to the US. They came by way of Ellis Island out of Latvia by ship. I have a picture of the vessel they took to cross the Atlantic. They had to grease a lot of palms to make that trip. My great grandmother almost wasn't allowed into the US. She was close to being legally blind - could barely see anything that wasn't right in front of her face. Back then immigrants had to pass a health check besides having a sponsor. My great grandfather said that if one of them couldn't get in, then none of them would. He paid off one of the health workers and they approved by great grandmother for entry. This was my mother's mother's side of the family. My grandfather also came from Russia about the same time frame but he came by way of Canada. He actually entered the US on his brother's visa. So I guess you could call him a snowback. Both my grandparents became American citizens. My grandfather cried the day he got his citizenship and no one ever saw him cry.
When FDR started with the gold confiscation my family was like... we've seen this before. So they refused to comply. My grandfather always told us, never let them take your guns. We were educated on the evils of Communism at a young age.
Yes sadly, that is true. They also told us about the people that were left behind that would not listen - the normies that didn't even dream things could get that bad. Most of them didn't survive the first WW or Stalin's gulags and famines. That's why I can relate to people like Rubio. He also understands the Communists and what evil they bring. But there are those in every generation that have to learn those lessons the hard way. But I am not one of them as I think most on this forum are not either. We know evil when we see it raise it's ugly head. Thank God we still have our guns.
So what if Trump Revalues Gold, which is fake Fed Gold and calls them out ? It revalues from $35 an ounce to over $5K an ounce in terms of accountability. Sounds pretty WILD !

does it have to be metric, or can we keep ounces, 400 ounce bars?
Made that size to limit the peasants access.
ah, history, thanks, 1937, after gold ownership was severely restricted
"does it have to be metric,"

A Troy oz is 31.1 grams. There are 12 troy oz in 1 pound. Aver dupois( our standard measure): 1 Oz is 28 grams. A pound is 16 oz.
thanks, perfect conversion info, if we go metric, understandable, I’m hoping we keep troy ounces
That's the current world standard.
" I’m hoping we keep troy ounces"
...if the big dogs deduced that would be beneficial for the runts...
...then that would not happen...
unfortunate wisdom about understanding them
hope they get distracted by the UFOs or something, or Gen. Flynn gets to become general over Fort Knox and goes with troy ounces
Rut roh! 😉
" Rut roh! 😉"
...your link and this one both could be accurate...
Hope we find out pup...
Duh????
Are they building a new refinery (Korea Zinc) in Tenn ?
Yes. I don't think it would work for this gold, they have to use electrolysis to get .999 purity.
Electrolysis TOO complicated for America ?

I'm sure they can do it. But are they building a plant for zink or gold?

quite a family history! they had senses that our era is having to learn and apply with political and health deceptions

sometimes I forget here about the guns, the 2nd Amendment, as the Great Awakening seems to be leading towards freedom, we do have a backup!
Yes indeed. Our guns are our backstop against absolute tyranny.
Legal documented ownership is also in question.
