“When Mr. Brockman responded with a suggestion that both sides drop their respective claims, Mr. Musk shot back: ‘By the end of this week, you and Sam will be the most hated men in America. If you insist, so it will be,’” the filing says.
Just being true to form. Steals something, gets caught, uses Pil pul when questioned, outright lies, just waiting for him to start claiming victim hood.
Either that, or Brockman throwing himself and Altman under the bus (plus $25M) is one of the deals made to save him from military justice. Or he could just be really stupid.

Anyway, I hope this trial and expected outcome are widely publicized. Managers' theft of equity has been going on for a long time, and rarely is as crystal clear as this case.
