Yep. It's when two people disagree over nothing or next to nothing.

It is generally used as a disapproving term for nitpicking or focusing on insignificant differences, often to avoid the main point or to be pedantic.
Flynn's post wasn't about Michael Jackson being the first to moonwalk. That was mentioned to specifically segue into the main point of the post-nobody actually walked on the moon.

I know. I just really thought it was a fun fact. For years I thought MJ invented the moonwalk. I just found out that wasn't true last year. I'm not trying to disparage General Flynn's post at all.
I was more defending MJ than Flynn 😂
