I think many of us can claim the same. The playbook is always the same. I have a good friend that ran for the US Senate seat in my state. The shenanigans that took place in that election were off the charts. She is now running for a State office and the battle is just as brutal. It took her many years to build up the courage to take another stab at politics. After the beating she took the last time, I really didn't think she would, but here we are again and the Dem state machine has only gotten stronger since then. We saw several Congressional and State offices stolen overnight in the last several election cycles - last minute ballot counts. When Trump won the WH, everyone seemed to check out and very few were still paying attention to the down ballot elections. It was blatant election theft bloodbath.
The guy that was smeared, was literally called a Nazi on FB, unbelievable, considering that his dad had literally fought nazis.
He played it safe, however, and ran for mayor AND councillor, and he got the council seat. NOw, he is the irritating gadfly, with LOTS of community support. So that's amusing.
Also, the papers are nooticing the ruckus. So there is some hope.
My friend was called a kook and a loon and the press ran with it. Her opponent, with a huge war chest, bought up all the air time in the run-up to the general election. There was literally no air time left for her except some of the local radio stations. Everyone wondered why she wasn't getting any local television air time and that hurt her because she had been polling well. Despite all the games, she still managed to get 45% of the vote. She was running against the Harry Reid machine if that tells you anything. His family still controls Dem politics in this state. What a crook. He bused in illegals from the Las Vegas casinos to put him over the top.
She didn't have the big war chest and still won her primary against some big GOP backers. The GOP didn't help her at all - the scum bags. She is MAGA. So I hope this time around she actually gets some help even though she is running in a State level election for Sec. of State. Her name is Sharon Angle. Prayers for her would be welcomed.

The FISA court themselves came back and said these warrants were illegal, that the FBI did not provide evidence of exculpatory evidence and innocence, and that the FBI essentially lied in those applications.”
