What did she have to do with it?
She was (is) on a Senate committee that has to do with Finances.
She did not want to extend a government loan (bail out) to Spirit some time last year. The Spirit bankruptcy is a direct result of her action.
It's as if she knee-capped the corporation and watched it limp off to die.
She got her scalp, the employees get their freedom.
I'm up in the air on that.
My small transmission operation doesn't get bail outs either. And I don't have any airplanes either...
