You do seem to be making a moral high ground argument against Massie, which is fine ( seriously) however,…..the ‘cheating’….couldn’t one make the same accusations against DJT and former wives? I honestly don’t know all the details and don’t care to dispute, just making a point.

I wasn't going there, my thoughts were more sinister than a self-permitted poison.
I looked it up and found that his first wife had a longtime (decade) autoimmune issue - not Covid induced. She had been managing it pretty well through the years. I think, don’t know for sure, that the family is pretty quiet about her health issues - didn’t want to make a big deal of it, focused on living instead.
I wasn’t able to find much but it has been a while since I looked.
