Having looked this up, I am not so concerned. The acid used is very minor and found naturally in our bodies. It helps keep those mister lines disinfected. Organic certification has approved it. If you can’t go to a farmers market, organic vegetables at grocery stores are still better than non organic. Wash everything off when you get home. Especially wash the banana peels, which can be grown organically, but are sprayed with pesticides on the shipping boats to keep the spiders off. Modern life.
I have said for years that "organic" has been tested to have chemicals the same as the regular produce, and there is no justification for the higher price. I never buy "organic," and I am fine, considering my age.
Nice. Now everyone who bought an organic produce in any of those stores needs to sue the ever living piss out of them. Prior to this settlement

Most stores today have sprinkler systems to help "keep the produce fresh."
