AI is a digital parrot...
Feed it stupidity & it will repeat it & expand upon it by finding similar patterns of stupidity.
Do you trust what God gave you between your ears or do you trust everything the parrot tells you?
Most people really aren't as smart as they think they are... and AI amplifies their confidence AND stupidity...
Just look at the ones that "fell in love" with an AI girlfriend...or who believe they're listening to some digitally fabricated Jesus...millions of them
Is a sharp knife, a power drill, a hammer - inherently evil? They're just tools... but in the hands of stupid people, they can be used to do stupid things...

"AI" is a simple computer program that is as evil as those who promote it.

This is scary. Seems that left to it's 'own devices', AI acts like liberals!! Is there a 'spiritual' component to AI that inherently causes this?? Can AI be trained to do the 'right' thing??

I would analogize the question as: "Is a hyena inherently evil?" The answer is: "No, but you sure as hell want to get it in a steel pen as soon as possible."
Some things are too fucking dangerous to meddle with, especially if you are stupid. And dangerous enough even supervised by trained and expert handlers.
But the question is not posed well. AI has no conceptual foundation, no sense of identity or reality, no compassion, and therefore no sense of morality. It is like a dream by a sleepwalker.
