The City of London is not "British". The British people have ZERO influence on The City of London. It is an independent sovereign territory, a city-state nested inside the territory of England, but it is not English in the political sense, it is not British in the sense of normal people of Britain receiving ANY BENEFIT from it. The British judicial system has no jurisdiction on The City of London, the British Police or British Army has no jurisdiction whatsoever. The control runs the other direction - The City dictates to Britain and to all puppet politicians in Britain. Britain is the [unwilling] servant of "The City". More than a few British leaders have been ousted by The City.
The City of London is to Britain as Israel is to the USA. Not the same, different, but in self-serving control thereof.
I watched that program a couple of years ago and it is very interesting but I always have at the back of my mind it was shown on Netflix which is deep state so if it’s up there it’s there for a reason, cos they WANT us to pay attention to the narrative it builds? The narrative that the UK is the big bad and head of the snake etc etc. my noggin is still active lot frequently joggin on this one so bear with me, I’m not sure where my brain is going with this but my pattern recognition is damned developed by now and my brain is always sceptical about anything and everything I consume now so I wonder what is achieved by this particular documentary, why was it funded if it could be detrimental to the snake? Unless it is distracting from the real power??
The city of London was ratified iirc by William the conqueror, and has always had its own constitution etc and been out with the structure of the UK. The question is who controls the city? Is it autonomous or controlled externally?
It would not surprise me if the city of London is actually Dutch controlled. I’ve always wondered that the Netherlands for such a small population has such an influential global position quietly… controlling tech thru the manufacturing of key components and shipping via Rotterdam and also the diamond center.. The perception of the British Monarchy as the head of the snake seems to me to be a rodeo clown like position, to distract people from the real power in the Dutch royal family?
The Dutch royals basically took over the British throne when the “immortal 7” invited William of orange to depose the UK king - ostensibly due to catholic sympathies- which led to the Netherlands royalty being installed as the British Royal family. The media always focuses on the British royals but basically ignores the Dutch to a large degree, it smacks of don’t look at this LOOK AT THEM! If you know what I mean? It reminds me of the rich list thing that’s published every year - the REAL uber wealthy have enough power and influence to not even be mentioned in those lists, the lists are pablum for the masses, bread and circuses to keep people distracted and divided and envious..

I’m just watching this again now and it’s striking me that it is produced to drive or influence a global financial control mechanism- to cancel financial privacy across the globe using “elites tax evasion” as a pretext for the masses to have their Jimmie’s rustled to demand that we all give up privacy
The logic no one wants to look at: if all wars are banker's wars, then the cessation of war requires either continuous banker appeasement or complete banker rejection
