There are some very creative people working for the White House these days.
This is a very impressive site. It has an interactive map you use to search for illegal alien arrests. The amount in my tiny town was unexpected.
I like the alien theme. Maybe it’s a precursor to greater declass.
And they have a means to leave tips! Wish they had this 20 years ago.
At the time, my coworker had a brother that worked for ICE. I had provided video evidence of my neighbor who usually had a dozen visitors per day carrying folders in and out of her expensive house. I was pretty certain she producing fake documents in her house.
ICE came by to observe and even parked a surveillance van down the street, but I suspect their efforts were squashed from the higher ups.
Using that city look up feature, my medium sized town has nearly 400 arrests!
My little town didn’t get past 30, but that alone was shocking. The spouse and I were talking that it could have been a small business and their “employees.” We had immediately thought of a local roofing company. How does that work?Can companies employee illegals?
Here in New England, the "roofing" companies are just plain white vans with 12 ladders and 2-3 wheelbarrows strapped to the roof. We call them "Ladder people".
The workers are always from central america usually no taller than 5'-5" and drive without licenses and no insurance. When they drunkenly crash their unregistered car, they just abandon it and run into the woods.
One of the bigger roofer employers was illegal himself (they usually work as subcontractors) so they don't need ID. He got drunk one day and killed a guy on a motorcycle. It took years to get him to trial and eventually deport him. His house was worth over $500k and I think his wife and kids are still here.
The REAL businesses that I've visited in Cali use hand scanners to verify the ID of the migrant workers they hire so they don't get in trouble with fraudulent ID's and papers.
Thanks for this comment. I learned a lot. This is a MUCH bigger problem than most realize.
I've been behind them in line at the bank. They usually have a stack of checks in hand to cash and they send a large portion of their tax free earnings via wire transfer to their home country.
Their "wives" can be seen pushing baby carriages downtown between the wire transfer places, ethnic food shops and the laundromat.
Most of the women are on EBT and when they have their babies at the hospital, they show up with NOTHING since the hospital can't let them leave without diapers, clothes, car seat, etc.
When the men fall off the roofs and get hurt (or even the minor injuries) they always take an ambulance since it's free and they get to cut the line inside the ER.
I know this because my wife and several friends are nurses at the hospital in our town.
My father worked for INS at the end of his career vetting visa applications. He found so much fraud, reported it all, and nothing happened. Now we know why!
So frustrating, but it all makes perfect sense now!
