Yeah, the whole project has morphed from a ballroom to a golden dome military installation with a drone base on the roof, and at least 6 stories underground... with a ballroom sandwiched in on the ground floor between all of those other layers.

It does make sense that a core hub of the executive central operations would be AT the president’s residence.

Past that, one man can’t possibly run the whole executive branch anymore. Something like this is probably a requirement for timely response and situation management.

She makes a solid argument. It almost suggests we are bringing down one global cabal and swapping it for another. Logically, the military hub in the basement makes the entire place a Grade A target. That doesn't sound very safe for the White House residents.
Something will always be a core power structure undergirding a group.
