Not to mention that letter openers, boxcutters and sawzalls are designed for specific purposes that are non-violent. Whereas a kirpan is a weapon, symbolic or not.
It's a clear case of either everybody gets to carry a knife, or nobody.
Oh good, I was hoping that a follower of the Sikh religion would weigh in and answer a few questions. Let me begin by saying that I don’t believe that the US is in any danger from Sikhs, we just haven’t seen anything happen like what occurred in the UK. I posted the info about the kirpans because I didn’t know what the US stance was on this particular item of faith. My concern is that given the open border policy of the Biden administration and the resultant influx of millions of unvetted illegal aliens, how easy would it be for bad actors to pretend to be of the Sikh religion, specifically in facilities/areas where weapons aren’t allowed but the kirpan would be? Do people simply assume that you are of the Sikh religion because of your attire/appearance? Are you ever asked about whether or not you are carrying a kirpan (sorry if that’s a stupid question)? Are kirpan blades ever inspected for dullness/sharpness and/or length?
The part where you said you weren’t wearing a sawzall on your belt. The post was directing people to the info that kirpans were allowed in areas where other weapons weren’t.
You must not have read your own post. The final couple sentences were justifying WHY kirpan were permitted in these places. Comparing them to other objects.
Fair point, I jumped to the conclusion that you were a Sikh and apparently made an ass out of myself. Honestly, I was looking forward to getting my questions answered and assumed you would be able to answer them. Sorry about that.
So ...... when the 2nd says: shall not be infringed, they have to "accomodate" carrying a knife?
That sounds like infringing on a constitutionally protected right. In many workplaces, a sheathed gun is far less dangerous than a kirpan wielding Sikh.
Yeah but I'm not wearing a sawzall on my belt, and i sure as shit don't keep the blades sharp.

This is what these people do. Force discrimination on their host nation and its citizens using religion as an excuse.
To them it’s a subtle form of conquest. They are Stone Age retards who don’t belong in White Christian Civilisation.

Not sure which part of that led you to believe I was a stinky Punjabi. I cant help you with those questions.

I'm just messing with you but yes I'm a corn fed white boy. Always have been. Great post nonetheless.

I know, it makes no sense.
This demands an answer. It's appalling.
