maple syruple? Oh no!
We were in the West and unversed in culinary niceties. Maple flavoring in sugar water is what we got. Pancakes and maple syrup was its name.
Maple syrup, have they heard of Vermont, Ohio, etc.?, local producers who know how to tap maple trees, as the native Indians did?
~We don't need no stinkin' Canadian maple syrup.~ Really we do not! I buy mine for mailed gifts from a Vermont catalog, for personal use from the State Fair and local markets. Just like honey and jams. The more local, the better.
