You cant make any ideology illegal without creating a whole group of people hell bent on that ideology.
The only way is to show people why certain ideologies are evil and where it leads them to.
This is part of Great Awakening, and is why such a deep push of Communism by the Cabal is being forced.

Therefore, all of America, left AND right, should be watching the NYC experiment to see how it works out. The trouble is, the left has seen it play out over and over, from Cambodia and its killing fields, to China and mass starvation and murder, to North Korea and its perpetual darkness, but they keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
There is a term for that....
They don't expect different results. They keep running the play over-and-over because they LIKE the results...mass murder. That is the whole point and objective from the start.
