Representative Byron Donalds has two legal incidents in his past:1997 Drug Arrest: At age 18, he was arrested for possession of marijuana. He completed a pre-trial diversion program, paid a $150 fine, and the charges were dismissed.
2000 Felony Theft Arrest: At age 20, he was arrested and charged with a second-degree felony relating to bank theft/fraud. He pleaded no contest, was sentenced to two years of probation, and the court later sealed and expunged the record.
I dont live in Florida so he is not mine to vote for but I know I wouldnt want the way I lived the last 26 years of my life to mean nothing because I screwed up as a kid.
Your point taken as well - 18 is adult age - although I was never arrested, I did a lot of dumb stuff until I was just over 21, mostly cuz I had friends that were dumb too. Once we all got serious about having a good life and raising families we walked the straight and narrow.
Played ball in college, ran with a bunch of meatheads ,and definitely did things I’m not proud of… Some Stayed in that mentality..Most of us Grew Up !!! Certainly wouldn’t want to be judged by my actions then … Dollars to Doughnuts many if not most ADULTS on this forum would at least privately say Amen !!
Worth the watch... (Taken from an earlier post). Gets into these criminal incidents plus a poor voting record, insider trading (vs claiming to be against it), etc.
Here's a good (13 minute) video of BD vs JC. I've watched several of this guy's videos - Grant Warrington of St Pete, Florida - have found him to be very well-reasoned and makes his cases thoroughly. Give this a watch especially if you're a voting Florida resident. He's a solid patriot, MAGA.
This is a good video on why Floridians should vote for Jay Collins.
In case you don't know.

Point taken. But at what age do actions have consequences? 18 and 20 year olds are considered as adults in Florida.
