So Obama Sr. never enjoyed any benefits of marriage to her (he was married to three other women at the time anyway under Kenyan tribal law) and was merely a lowly Kenyan government official who thought himself blessed to participate in an East-West exchange in remote Hawaii. He kept his mouth shut about the details of his special arrangement there, but he was in photos with the dad more than (if ever) with the alleged wife. He probably thought it was all good until his car accident a few years later.
