As most of you know, I have been fighting corruption as California's income tax agency for a decade.
I thought you would be interested to know that at the end of 2025, Assembly Bill AB-1518 passed and was codified as Revenue & Tax Code 18537. It allows employers to file a "group tax return" on behalf of illegals. CA allows illegals to be paid less than minimum wage as long as the illegals pay the highest income tax bracket -- the bracket for people who make a million or more dollars per year.
The state itself is exploiting illegals.
It is my opinion that every legislator who voted for this and Gov. Newsom (for signing it) should be prosecuted for facilitating human trafficking.

The citizens are the victims if unvetted illegals are allowed into the society
I agree that there is zero benefit to unvetted migration. I am a firm believer that sanctuary cities/states protect the human traffickers, not the migrants. Everyone in areas with unregulated migration suffers -- the residents who lose jobs, services, etc. and the migrants who are exploited.
The migrants are indeed exploited, but often live better than if they had not migrated, despite the exploitation. I've heard many horrible individual stories of why they came. It's really an escape valve for foreign tyrants, so their oppressed citizens can leave rather than revolt. For most of the migrants it's still a relative improvement to their suffering.
That is a sad reality.
They should vote republican once they know a little more about America
They shouldn't be voting at all.
