I mean it’s more feasible than ever now with the progress they’ve made a miniaturizing Nuclear Reactors. And there’s nothing saying you actually have to do it. It might however light a fire under Boeing and distract the Media and the online peanut gallery for a week or two.

the -200 is all cable driven flight controls and engine controls,
engines on the -200 are very noisy, on the -8 they are very quiet, the -8 engines are fly by wire,
flight controls are different, wing structure and lay out are different, especially the wing tips
-8 is a lot longer than the -200
-8 has heavier structure and landing gear and can carry more weight both as freighter and passenger loads.
