I'm pretty sure he was talking about A2A refueling capability.
Are they getting ready to disclose that jet turbine engines can function over unity?
I think what they meant was they installed a refuelling nozzle on the aircraft.
Instead of landing to refuel, they can connect to a tanker to top up while remaining airborne.
I remember when the plan for the new AF1 was talked about in his first term... & here we are 🥲

No idea. Apparently most jet liners put several thousand tonnes of fuel into those tiny wings before they go anywhere.
I think it is closer to 100 tons. A big 747 can take about 180 tons. The smaller 747s about 120 tons.
