"Good morning, C&C family, it’s Wednesday! No sooner had I clicked “post” on yesterday’s roundup defending the Supremes’ first batch of controversial decisions than they pulled the pin from the political hand grenade and declared President Trump’s birthright citizenship executive order unconstitutional. Thanks a lot! So now, while there is so much other good news developing, not least of all the Court’s consolation prize on womens’ sports, we must undertake a little spadework to grasp where this decision really leaves us— and whether we should finally swallow the black pill. (Hint: No.) Onward, toward inevitable victory."
Where are American Blacks on this? Where is the Administration's messaging to American Blacks on this??
They should be outraged that the 14th Amendment, designed to restore dignity, citizenship, voting rights etc. to freed slaves and other black freemen, has been turned upside down, to give anyone popped out on American soil, automatic citizenship?!? To replace Black American citizens and their economic opportunities by parasitic competition from a ceaseless stream of birth tourism etc.
"The whole birthright citizenship issue is itself a hot mess, stuffed inside a burning dumpster out back of a fireworks factory. And yesterday, that burning dumpster exploded onto social media with blackpilling and dark accusations of betrayal.
As an aside, this exact same reaction pattern happens every single time. It is nothing but destructive for conservatives to howl for civil war every time something seems to fall short of an absolute victory. Personally, I am convinced this is a psyop run by Democrats, and they will keep on doing it so long as it keeps working. But I digress."
If Trump’s EO had been validated but the SC then it could be reversed by a new administration, the concept of using EOs as an instrument to ‘clarify’ ambiguous or implicit elements of law or the Constitution may become common practice AND it would have removed any pressure from the legislature to take more permanent action to resolve the issue.

Now I understand. Congress draws the lines. The upcoming election must be a continuation of the last election in terms of importance.
I would add an amendment to this bill that children claiming citizenship via this practice can never bring relatives into the US.
I am not a lawyer, but I believe that Congress can pass a law that properly defines the meaning of “subject to the jurisdiction”.
Congress won't touch this. It will not be overturned in our lifetime. It would take a constitutional convention, and a 3/4 majority.
