They want us to believe that we come from apes so that we will then have doubts about God.
Since He created literally everything, per the Bible, God was also clever enough to create evolution, programming into the DNA of all living things the mechanisms of microscopic mutations we witness leading to the astonishing diversity of life forms on the planet. All according to His grand plan.
There. Issue of creation vs. evolution solved at age 13 in my first high school paper, simply by acknowledging the Creator of all biology. The priest gave me an A. I am not making this up.
