Curcumin might not solve a cancer problem all by itself, but it has long been known as one of the most powerful anti-cancer nutraceuticals available. It's an excellent health-promoter, and for cancer patients, a nearly must-have adjuvant to whatever else is being done.
Long, technical (in part), and with several graphics, there's much more to this column than I can reproduce here.

Curcumin, popularly called “curry powder” or turmeric, is a polyphenol extracted from Curcuma longa. Curcumin has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antiviral, and anticancer properties. (1) Curcumin has potent anticancer effects, being the most potent inhibitor of the Warburg glycolytic enzymes, has strong activity against cancer stem cells and strongly influences the tumor microenvironment. Curcumin modulates the activity of more enzymes, regulatory factors and proteins than any other anti-cancer agent (see Figure 1). Curcumin should therefore be prescribed to every cancer patient (unless a contraindication exists).

We should make a list of all the cancer curing treatments and post them where people can easily access them.
Anything that keeps and helps the liver to stay healthy is anti-cancer. Milk thistle first of all. Not hitting the bottle like an idiot. Not going to places where hepatitis is a given.
That’s on my list of threads to make.
Also: more widespread medical threads.
Just gotta go through my bookmarks.
It’s gonna take a while when I do it.
I add tumeric and black pepper to my eggs every morning...no real taste difference
Where does this come from? Tumeric, interesting
I started daily supplementation when I told to follow an anti-inflammatory diet. It takes days to weeks, but I notice the difference when I have to stop it. Amazing!
Just one of the supplements I've been taking over 5 yrs. Now.
How do you take it? Do they make capsules?
If you’re willing to make your own mix and fill the capsules look for gelatine empty capsules (1000 capsules size 0) and a capsules filling tray/kit. Turmeric/curcumin needs black pepper/piperine 20:1 for enhanced bioavailability.
The capsules filling trays are hard to find, but they are there.
Better yet, golden milk may be a more tasty way to administer the necessary daily quantity of curcumin.
Curcumin is a blood thinner, so take this into consideration.
You can also eat a lot of (certain types) of curry.
