I used to drop everything I had sorted out of my house to Goodwill. Then I read the guy who started it was a multi millionaire. Disgusting con. As bad as red cross.
About five years ago I dropped off a few garbage bags of things at Goodwill, only because it was convenient opposed to the other thrift store in my area. The guy opened the door and told me to sort my stuff in bins. I should have taken it back to my car. I left the bags and haven’t been back since. I’d rather throw it away than deal with them. Yes, they are pricing items way too high. My husband went in one a few years ago. I used to shop this particular one all the time about twenty years ago and got good stuff at decent prices.
