Good because I just got done making a round trip from Florida to Western Washington a couple weeks ago and I can tell you with certainty, there are A LOT of raids that need fixing EVERWHERE. Some roads were so bad it was hard to maintain the posted speed limit (not that I ever do, really as I have a lead foot), it nearly drove me mad having to hear the excessive and incessant road noise. Not to mention the bone and suspension jarring bumps, dips, potholes, and scars on those roads. Some roads on the route don't seem to have been repaired since they were built over 60-70 yrs ago.
I honestly don't know how the locals that drive those roads daily put up with it.
Road repairs should only be a private enterprise.
Otherwise its taxpayer funded aka theft
Part of that per gallon tax you pay is supposed to be dedicated 100% to road repair. Unless, of course, it has changed along the way. Rather like dual citizenship which is a total oxymoron.
