what everyone has to remember is that AI has the inability to evaluate quality and accuracy of info at no time does the AI show where the info came from. Grok is only the first step you actually need to look at the actual information at the source..... a proper use of AI is to now go and track down where this info came from and do your own evaluation of the source. I love how we have AI to find stuff liker this but only posting that AI says something happen is not enough if you want to claim it happend
A serious caution. I happened to view a video where a narrator was taking up an AI's contention about the aversion of WWII German flak crews to engage attacking fighter planes. This did not comport with the narrator's reading of relevant aviation history, so he dug into it, and dug into it. He found that the source of the story in the AI video was from a different AI video. So he found that source and looked up where it got its information. Another AI video. Well---you guessed it---it was AI videos all the way down. The information was false, but it was projected into the internet AI echo chamber, where AI makes no distinction between fact and fiction.
Yes, as a pointer to possible sources, maybe. But a modification of Reagan's Rule is appropriate: Never trust and always verify.
If this is what all the legend is about, it qualifies as the mother of all nothingburgers. I read as much as I could manage, but the picture is decidedly murky. A handful of Israeli ex-soldiers, here to do what?, running around for a potentially bogus business, but having committed no crimes. This adds up to Nothing and it means Nothing. From the sketchy information developed from the "investigation," no truth can be distilled. Better to drop it and move on.
Yeah. I mean "Thank you for being honest this time" doesn't exactly paint a picture of unbiased, objective and impartial use of information and AI technology.... Grok's a database and search engine. Input = output. Not a sentient entity capable of honesty or dishonesty. Apparently.
Did they "dance"? On account of what? Nobody said. Nobody knows. They were investigated and interviewed, to no result. Now they are gone into the mists of history.
I never heard of a random group of nationals being diplomatic representatives of another country's foreign policy. The British were allies with the U.S. during World War II, but that didn't stop Klaus Fuchs, a British national, from sharing Manhattan Project secrets to the Russians. Does this refute that the British were our allies? Of course not.
The Sunday NY Times in the summer before 9/11 did a story about the "art students" living on a high floor in the North Tower. The Times described a temporary observation deck the students had built by removing a single pane of glass from the exterior. The Times claimed that removing a single window was sufficient to compromise the building's structural integrity. Planting a seed in the readers' minds, no doubt.
I remember when this was a hot topic, have a friend (a pastor ) in N. J. who SAW them doing this , I actually texted Hugh Hewitt and told him, his comment was , if there is no film it didn't happen. I was gobsmacked he said that. I guess his point was if there was no film no one would go out on a limb . Head scratcher .....

I think it was "Trust, but verify".
It was. Thus, the modification.

Why would they dance to this tragedy? I thought that we were all allies
