I've felt that people have gone crazy since lockdowns and Covid. Luckily the people in this community see through that BS so have been beacons of reason and hope through that. However, since Biden has been in office I have felt a similar type anxiety and craziness creeping in on some people who weren't badly affected by Covid. This is a stressfull time no matter what you believe!
I hope, and really do believe that 99% of people on both sides of this craziness lately are well intentioned and just get emotionally tied up in their view.
