This is nothing to do with the EU. Germany have for years been getting 100% of its gas from Russia. Trump told them this was madness and they did nothing. Nearly every other country cut Russian gas but Germany didn't. Now they are fucked. Luckily the UK cut its Russian gas down to 5% when putin started poisoning people in england and invaded crimea. UK has now dumped that last 5%. This is what germany should have done over the last 8 years but they thought they were exempt from European geoploitics. We don't get snows anymore really. We may get a day or two but since 1996 i can only remember 1 winter where it snowed heavily and lasted more than a day. That was more than 10 years ago. I'm in the UK though so maybe germanys a bit different

Actually heating homes is not such a problem anymore. We don't really get proper winters anymore. Last one i remember was 1996. I think ive seen snow thats lasted more than a day twice since then. Nothing in the last 10 years. I get a payment for every 7 days that the temp is 0 or below. Aint had one in 10 years.
