I think you are onto something. I was trying to figure out the rationale of the FBI pissing off everybody. Deep State is usually more subtle. But a smaller rogue group that some in Deep State don't know about seems more likely.

The IRS has to much broad power and should have had strict guidelines in the past and present so citizen funds could not be confiscated without going to court.

I mean is it all theatrical, and he's working with them, but if so, how could any findings / investigations they are part of now be taken seriously by the masses?

I recall Congressman James Traficant drew the ire of the IRS for authorizing Section 7491 that was added to the Code by the IRS Restructuring and Reform Act of 1998 to shift the burden of proof to the IRS in civil tax cases.
