The skyline will change, and you can live in the country and work downtown if you want. They'll be expensive at first, so a lot of people will use them as an Uber, and there will probably be bus-lines to a local parking lot in your neighborhood.
Think Dubai, with a Constitution instead of some Prince running it.
Think of how beautiful Dubai is, and how successful it has become for business and such. Now think of 10 of those in the US, under the Constitution. Sounds beautiful. Dead cities can be farmed for resources and turned back into farm land.
One massive pet-peeve I have with cities is all of the tiny-yard housing development suburbs everywhere. You basically have to have a million dollar house to have an acre of land and not be an old farm-house.
I'd move there. Think of 10 new Dubai cities in the US, under the Constitution. They'd be glorious.
Tippy Top Kek. I could listen to 100 of these.
I'm fine making them citizens if they have to go through an American History course, instruction on the Constitution, and have marketable skills and learn English to a functional level.
Well to be honest, we need to focus on robotics for most factory work. We'd be trying to go back in time if we tried to redo the Industrial Revolution's way of doing things. We don't need more Model-T's. We need state of the art technology implemented in a way that is affordable to the masses. But building, programming, modifying and maintaining a robotics oriented factory would still employ a lot of people.
If we have low-skill people needing work, put them to work maintaining public parks and gardens, sweeping streets, answering phones, etc.
Classes in American history, financial literacy, business literacy, emerging tech skills (ai, media, robotics, etc.) , classical society skills (woodworking, baking) and Religion.
Turn them back into farm land. ;)
Yeah, my insides stirred when I listened to this.
Probably, but when flying cars hit the consumer market good luck putting walls around them.
They're coming. Think of what it will do to cities, traffic congestion and uber-rides.
If you know what to fix, and have a plan to handle the pain points of removing these dysfunctional entities, you can do it very quickly.
Flying cars are not a Trump thing, he's just pouring gas on the fire. They're inevitable at this point.
This is YUUGE. Love this stuff.
They seem to have lost their respect, admiration—and fear—of the West.
Sadly this is fair, as they see the actions of our leaders more than the common folk. The US has a lot to account for, and fix moving forward. And I say this as a 100% Patriot.
I game, I don't think it's fair to say it's programming. Yes it can be addictive and unbalance your life, making you forgo other aspects of life which are more important, but compared to the other areas the programming aspect is pretty minimal. There are much worse vices out there, but I agree it is a vice. I found that as my income has gone up, the options for real-life go up, and the appeal of gaming has decreased.
It's escapism. Women escape into social media attention w****ing and/or romance novels, and men escape into gaming. Both show signs of being unhappy with reality and saps ambition, but is also a salve. IMO, make reality more attractive and less people will be tempted to escape. Definitely a chicken vs egg situation that spirals. Meaningful steps available to a better life is the key.
I'd modify it to say "Admit it if they are wrong, and willing to stand up for the truth if they are right."
Churches fail to lead due to government pressure. Men fail to lead due to wife pressure.
Women who love freedom, family and are wholesome.
100% Also... not obese.
Also not a simp, and wants to lead.
For sure, I hate to think that my electronic devices with batteries in them are causing poor souls to stand around in an open pit digging for cobalt because of me. Sure it's a job, but people in those nations are so broke, by design, that they don't have better options.
I don't mind EV's as an option because Sunshine is more infrastructure independent (freedom) than gasoline is... But why is this person not using the garage wall outlet? I wonder if they have sky-high electric rates out there in CA.
Hijacking the top comment to mention this is South Africa being referred to.
Prayers for all indeed!
