I had an experience where I almost drown..I am an excellent swimmer, swimming in my backyard pool as a child since birth... However one time, as an adult, I was swimming in the lake with no life vest... all of a sudden the water around me under the surface started churning, I couldn't say anything. I was confused and fighting to stay afloat but no matter what I did this force underneath would not allow me to push the water around me to tread, luckily my spouse was right there, asked if I was okay, all I could was make eye contact as my mouth went under, they grabbed me and pulled me over enough to get me away from that weird churning around me. Drowning is silent..it's not a person yelling help me and flailing their arms around.

I was that girlfriend once...it took years of my now husband schooling me and running circles around me in debates before I woke up, but he did not wake me up, my wake up was catching the media lying on multiple occasions. We are in our 3rd year homeschooling...we started kindergarten at the start of school mask mandates/covid so we were somewhat forced into it.
I was very apprehensive of it and I did not like our kindergarten year or the program suggested by homeschooling family members.
For 1st grade (and still mask mandates) I researched for hours and hours all the different schools, we decided on bjupress. (Bob Jones university) It set us up with a full christian curriculum. Video lessons, textbooks and workbooks. (they have other options too) I personally needed the structure provided.
Maybe as I get better at this stuff I will venture off Into using multiple sources for different subjects. I did have to spend a few hours watching veteran bju moms on YouTube for ideas on organizing everything. Hope this helps.

Just got home from a week in Indiana Ohio and Kentucky...all west and south of ground zero. I have nothing to report. No dead animals, no weird oil rainbows in water sources. No chemical smells. No one (out of the 11 of us) had any complaints of breathing or watering eyes or red eyes.
That was great...gonna go find part 2, see if it's out...
