Alot of it has to do with the idea that we are living in a post invasion world. Essentially, when Christ returned from Heaven ~60-80 AD the thousand year reign occurred on Earth. Then around the late 1800s, Satan was unbound and allowed on Earth. It is an alternative explanation as to the dystopic nature of the world we live in. Tie in the Cabal and their need to traffic and sacrifice humans to different demonic effigies....resets make sense and Satan would love to be deceitful and hide evidence of Christ's accomplishments for Earth.
