The usurper is anyone who would attempt to limit your understanding of the limitless.

The post was indeed meant to be an open ended, thought provoking prompt.

Too bad the mods deleted it for no reason.

They warn us about this 26,000 year cycle, which has catastrophic events occurring at each “seasonal” transition [the 26,000 year cycle is known as the “Great Year”, which divides into 4 “Great Seasons” of ~6,500 years, each of which is comprised of 3 “Great Months” of 2,160 years each]. I’m not sure if you saw the threads on this subject from a couple weeks ago, but there was some interesting (imo! lol) discussion on the subject between cuomo, SR, and I -

https://communities.win/c/Christianity/p/15HIFFwU20/the-dawning-of-the-age--the-fish/c

The video doesn’t get into the specifics of the Pyramid and Sphinx, it just provides an overview of this cycle of catastrophe. Ive seen a few sources talk about the “astrotheological” (for lack of a better umbrella term) import of the great pyramid complex. If you’re looking for writing I recommend Serpent in the Sky by John Anthony West, or the documentary series based on that book, Magical Egypt, which was free on youtube last time I checked. Basically, these structures are more than just a warning, they encode much of the knowledge of the previous cycle’s survivors.

Thanks. And what you say makes sense, but seem like options restricted to the “bad guys” (secret keepers). Shouldn’t there thus be a parallel “escape” for the “good guys”? I’m thinking along the ideas of

  1. “Nirvana” (enLightenment) being an “escape from Samsara(physicality/earth)” with Buddha and his disciples taking the opposite path of the secret keepers

  2. Tibetan/Egyptian/etc “rites of traversing Death”, aka what we see recorded in their “book of the dead”, by whomever it was who derived that system

  3. Joining God as an adopted son in the New Heaven and New Earth, as revealed to us by someone who undeniably walked the path of revelation and shared it freely, and who many think was God Himself incarnate as man

All of these options involve accepting death, whereas it seems the routes available to the “bad guys” involve increasingly heinous techniques to stave off death (adrenochrome, technological transhumanism, treating the Earth like a cattle reserve then attempting to run away or hide when the cycle is ticking over, those kinds of things).

Do you think, regardless of the earthly machinations of some, an Honorable Judgement from on High is the end result of an Earthly cycle of sowing and reaping? Or do you think it may be possible to “escape” earth and this judgement? Basically, do you think those who kept this secret for their own benefit have a pigs chance in hell?

Yep, “isis” has prevented further study of gobekli for the last 10 years. They also go from town to town smashing statues and artifacts. Just a coincidence surely! Nothing to do with the ultimate source of their funding! Surely!!

Lol

That’s a great example. Seemingly constructed and then purposefully buried just prior to the last half-cycle event [buried approx. 13,000 years ago, last “event” (younger dryas impact) occurring approx. 12,000 years ago].

Also the site seems to, like the others, be conveying awareness of some kind of ecological disaster (stone carvings and reliefs of animals that did not exist on the continent after the event)

“Warnings” include:

  1. The Great Pyramid + Sphinx

  2. The Bible (Great Deluge + Revelations)

  3. The Yuga cycle

  4. The Mayan Long-Count calendar

Many others (please mention any that come to mind).

So they are attempting to warn us, I think that much is clear. Is the purpose to get us to realize what is truly important about our existence? Is the purpose to prepare us in some way(getting underground, or some other means of protection)? What do you think is going on?

Edit: if you’re unfamiliar with this topic, or wondering the source of the OP image, this short video is an excellent place to start

Here’s a good source to start with. Accuracy (with hindsight, on an almost 50 year old book)-like any aspect of this discussion- can be quibbled with, but the work is atleast scholarly and by an author of good repute.

I thought the word used was “builder”, and most people with two braincells to rub together knew that there was never much construction with wood in the mid east?

Oh and

Reddit is ⬇️⬇️⬇️ that way

It sure is. Lao Tzu, Mo Tzu, and Kung Fu Tzu were all roughly contemporary, and all discussing the same thing, The Way. Just because our sterile, western approach has robbed these works of their true legacy doesn’t mean you need to continue the charade in ignorance.

Lol

Ok

What is the objective meaning of the parable of the farm hands?

And while you’re at it, if you could provide the objective meaning behind the camel and the eye of a needle, that would be great too, I’ve always wondered and it sounds like you’re the man with the objective answers

This was probably the most important part of that wiki page

For Mozi, Heaven is the divine ruler, just as the Son of Heaven is the earthly ruler. Mozi believed that spirits and minor demons exist or at least rituals should be performed as if they did for social reasons, but their function is to carry out the will of Heaven, watching for evil-doers and punishing them. Mozi taught that Heaven loves all people equally and that each person should similarly love all human beings without distinguishing between his own relatives and those of others (Dubs, 1959-1960:163-172). Mozi criticized the Confucians of his own time for not following the teachings of Confucius. In Mozi's Will of Heaven (天志), he writes:

Moreover, I know Heaven loves men dearly not without reason. Heaven ordered the sun, the moon, and the stars to enlighten and guide them. Heaven ordained the four seasons, Spring, Autumn, Winter, and Summer, to regulate them. Heaven sent down snow, frost, rain, and dew to grow the five grains and flax and silk that so the people could use and enjoy them. Heaven established the hills and rivers, ravines and valleys, and arranged many things to minister to man's good or bring him evil. He appointed the dukes and lords to reward the virtuous and punish the wicked, and to gather metal and wood, birds and beasts, and to engage in cultivating the five grains and flax and silk to provide for the people's food and clothing. This has been so from antiquity to the present."

does have little stories to illustrate points, however those stories almost always fail to constrain points and serve mostly as metaphors.

One could even call them parables 🤔

Are you a Christian? If so, I’ve found the best way to understand what Taoism speaks to is to understand the concept of “The Will of Heaven”. I find a lot of overlap between that and the ideas expressed by, for example Matthew 6:10

2
Graphenium 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think that Taoism came from the era and mindset of the mystery schools. There was the surface level analysis, available to all the vulgar masses, and then there was a deeper layer maintained through a distinct class in the society. Unfortunately for us, the only thing we in the West ever see is the surface level, “zen poetry-woah that’s deep dude here hit this” facet.

For instance, what makes you think that a Taoist philosophy results in the idea that nature order or balance are subjective? Or are you saying that you think those things are subjective?

Cringe lol you “debate” (or whatever that weird dismissal was) like a redditor

Seeing your breath in the winter is not the same as drying a wet sheet in the Himalayan winter by heating up your body through yogic breathing exercises. You would freeze to death. They don’t. That’s not biology, that’s a skill of some kind. The video contains a similar skill.

https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2002/04/meditation-changes-temperatures/

In a monastery in northern India, thinly clad Tibetan monks sat quietly in a room where the temperature was a chilly 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Using a yoga technique known as g Tum-mo, they entered a state of deep meditation. Other monks soaked 3-by-6-foot sheets in cold water (49 degrees) and placed them over the meditators’ shoulders. For untrained people, such frigid wrappings would produce uncontrolled shivering.

If body temperatures continue to drop under these conditions, death can result. But it was not long before steam began rising from the sheets. As a result of body heat produced by the monks during meditation, the sheets dried in about an hour.
