Can someone provide an accurate history of the AshkaNaziS and the difference from khazarian s ? Please. I am trying to educate myself about this subject and all I seem to run into are Jewish shills that call me names instead of providing info. The only thing I can state as a matter of fact is that Jewish scholars do look to the Talmud above the Torah . Not my opinion actuall truth from a Jewish rabbi

Ashkenazi are genetically distinct, unlike Sephardic or other Jews. The mitochondrial DNA is traced back to Western Europe, same ancestors of pre-European whites. The haplogroups (paternal DNA) are more diverse. Some lines came from the Caucasus, not the majority.
Further, these gene lines diverge many thousands of years ago, not recent millennium.

The Khazarians did not blink into existence in current day Georgia. They originated in mainland russia and "idolatry" is the least of their sins. They were forced out of Russia only after they had "adopted" Judaism (they were allowed to pick a new religion since baby sacrificing was no longer put up with by Russia). It was only after that when this little snippet of misinformation picks up. They never stopped their practices and anyone who wanted to attack them did so because they were evil. Here’s a good source to start with. Accuracy (with hindsight, on an almost 50 year old book)-like any aspect of this discussion- can be quibbled with, but the work is atleast scholarly and by an author of good repute.
