I'd say it's more like 3 to 5 MONTHS to get employment these days, unless you're talking a minimum wage job, then that might take only 3 to 5 WEEKS.

I wonder what happened with all of the perks of employment that seemed to exist pre-2000. After 9/11 is when all of that seemed to vanish. Where did it all go?

Despair is what I call living these last 3 years in real time.

You DO realize that raising a family, supporting a household, and working a full time job is not only demanding but it is also exhausting? Forget all of our government's treason - that's the cherry on top. There's barely enough time to breath when you sleep 7-8 hours and come home from work with just enough time to eat, shit, and shower, let alone do activities with the family, maintain the house and car, and perhaps even have a few seconds every week to enjoy doing your hobby. I've never heard anyone that mention it in my area. We're just a solid blue shithole for 60 years because of our proximity to Chicago. And there are more city people transplants now than ever. We pay a financial premium to live here because of our proximity to the shit city.

Everything in my town where I live is priced to be in competition with Cook County as it is a border town. There are virtually no businesses I shop at in my own town because everything is priced to be "Cook County Lite" to encourage the idiots from Illinois to come over and buy stuff without giving them TOO big of a discount.

Nah that's too small. They need a much larger terror event so that they can implement even more spying, lockdowns, curfew, etcetera. A January 6th event would involve storming some government building somewhere, but what would be the context?

But then they vote for more and more democrats even in my area of Indiana. One of my friends has run for office 3 times now for varying things, state senator, district representative, and school board. In 2022 he was so excited telling me things looked so good for Republicans because primary turnout and early voting was at an all time low and normally those indicators meant that the democrats weren't enthusiastic nor were they coming out to vote. But then he lost anyways. I feel like it's all the same HOPIUM posted over and over and over here on these forums too and how it really doesn't equate to reality.

I never hear anyone complain about taxes which boggles my mind. They only complain about wages, forgetting that 20-25% is taken from them just on income alone without even considering sales taxes on top of that.

But maybe those people are INDIGENOUS in flavor as they are the only true worthy inhabitants!

I'd be excited if so many hadn't died in the process.

Of course, but it's hardly equal. The local Target had 2-3 cashiers (one watches the 4 self checkouts) for black Friday 2022. Scheduled this way and NOT due to call-offs.
