Exactly. The one that gets me is, when they say, "I feel the Lord is trying to tell me something and He wants me to share it with you". No. It doesn't work that way.

Another thing that is odd to me, is that the wife does not seem to be fazed one bit by the shooting. And the person in the house who is also filming, does nothing but clear their throat. No shock in their actions whatsoever.

I am sorry to hear that your friends husband is in the hospital with covid. As someone that spent 2 and a half months in the hospital with covid, I feel a Kindred spirit with him. My prayers are with your friend and her husband.
I do not believe that Self defense or Stand Your Ground Law should hold up here. He clearly did not need to grab his rifle, nor did he have a reason to kill the dad. Manslaughter at the very least.
