If I was his advisor I'd tell him to immediately sit it out and full force align with Trump. When Trump gets out in 4 years that's when we start campaigning under the notion we'd continue Trunps legacy for another 8 yrs. That'd be an easy sell for Trump supporters and would just need to sway some Democrat voters.
