They took these 20-23 year old new grads and stuck them straight in Covid ICU to do their dirty work. They utterly killed the nursing profession with the young eager newbies. Such a sad world.

Ooooooo! You just opened a hot topic for me. I TOTALLY AGREE patients are used as bonus checks. I have been a nurse for over 25 years and either my eyes have been slowly opened, or it just gets worse every year. Covid ruined nursing completely for me. I’m still in the field, but not in direct care while I search for my new gig. I’m thinking holistic medicine is for me, but not much opportunity around my area yet.

Me too. The fight became personal with me watching my daughter fight the child protective services in FL. We had a foster child in our family we fear is involved. Lawsuits have been filed but it is a slow slow process and we fear the worst for her. I need them prosecuted in the open. I need people to see.

I work at a cancer center where snacks are donated regularly for the patients to enjoy. The donations have come to a trickle. I’m not complaining, just thought it was due to the increase in cost of snacks.

Interesting!! Lake County, FL has to be close to the top of the list of most child abuser friendly court systems in the country. I guess it’s easier to arrest a non-violent trespasser than a child abuser. Sickening.
