No, it was an aunt with 6 of the 10 kids that stepped up. Mom signed away her rights at birth. The baby was immediately adoptable through the system, but until a check was attached, she was unwanted. If the baby would have not been drug positive, the adoption would have been finalized. Sick. Just sick.
I am licensed in MS, but I can use my license in other “compact” states. They did it due to all the travel nursing issues. No sense in using MS nurses to cover for their liberal policy causing the need to use travel nurses.
Agree. We had a planned adoption during an unwanted pregnancy, papers signed. The baby was positive for drugs at birth turning her into a system baby with a check. They found a relative that wanted her. Devastation. System baby #10 for this mom. $5,000 a month paychecks just with this 1 mom.
Prayer request for a FL court case coming up soon on a foster child that the system failed. We don’t have high hopes for her but we had to do the right thing anyway. Our hope is to make a difference for other kids within a very broken foster system.
Um, gave up support YEARS ago! I saw the corruption first hand with RELAY FOR LIFE and the American Cancer Society. Nothing, literally nothing but a wig if you lose your hair, goes to cancer patients. The thousand I donated over the years sickens me now thinking how I could have used those dollar to help others. I now donate snacks to the local cancer center.
I really think it’s more a “general health” thing. As a kid, we were told carrots are good for your eyes. It’s not like one carrot will make a difference, but over time, a daily carrot will help provide the nutrients needed for “good eyes.”
I think supplements are excellent for any dietary deficiency and can change lives if used appropriately.
I went through my public service commissioner to the FCC for my landline that did not work EVERY TIME IT RAINED. Final statement from them “ too rural” to get help. So they could lay the line, connect my service, demand my bill AND TAX be paid monthly, but would not service the line. Good for them. They deserve worse.
The New Orleans Superdome during Katrina was as bad as the storm itself, if not worse. The democrat run city failed on astronomical levels.
