If you go to the comments, several saying that exactly the same thing. I didn’t click the link, but the accounts are listed as Indonesian.
It may have started with good intentions, maybe, but it’s gotten out of hand passing over Americans for cheaper foreigners. So many programs have ended up this way. Veteran preference contractors working on VA projects is so similar. A name only vet owner subs out to cheap foreign owned countries resulting in poor quality work. Some owners NEVER SET FOOT ON THE PROJECT! Waste and abuse everywhere.
Serious detail: socialized medicine there doesn’t work. I don’t know the answer, but their medical system is far more broken than ours. I live in SOUTH MISSISSIPPI and we have Canadian patients that travel to US for cancer treatment.
They wanted me to give up my aerosol hairspray in 1981. We lived miles from an international airport. I mentioned to mom it seemed that one plane would pollute a lifetime more than my can a year of hairspray. I was far from awake, but I was an observant kid. Time made the entire thing seem even more stupid.
