We have one of the largest military bases in the world on Oahu less than an hour flight time from Maui and yet no military aircraft in the area assisting this disaster. Doesn't add up.

Something is not right with this fire. I was military controller on island of Oahu. We assisted all major emergencies on all the islands. But I've seen no signs of military anywhere on Maui including flight tracker. Nothing at all.

Never heard of wildfires on any of the islands in three years as army air traffic control. Lahina gets 93.5 inches of rain per year. Seems impossible to me.
