I’m on the app, and can’t find that…
Yes, carry on!! 👍🏽
Much love to our fellow Americans!
Lord, your will be done. Amen.
Enders received a nobel for his work. I have older friends and family who’ve suffered from polio. However, I don’t know anybody my age or younger who’ve suffered from polio; so that dude (dr Enders) must’ve done something right!
If you believe that dna testing is real, then keep in mind that DNA/RNA sequencing is on a much smaller nanoscale than the size of viruses.
We’re able to image atoms now.
Based on your post, we both agree that the technology existed (microscopes) at the time (mid-late1800s), to discover and identify bacteria. But that tech couldn’t detect what we now know to be viruses; therefore we thought it must have been poison (virus in latin).
Humanity wasn’t flying in the skies at the time (airplanes), but we were looking at tiny single celled organisms (bacteria).
As technology improved, we gained the ability to see smaller things, and what we once perceived to be poison, was discovered to be tiny capsules (it’s still debated whether these are actual “living” things), but what we found is that they primarily target bacteria and prevent bacteria from infecting everything on earth and destroying complex life.
BTW viruses as we understand them in the modern era, don’t particularly infect eukaryotic organisms (complex cells) but target prokaryotic cells (single celled organisms like bacteria). Yes there are viruses that infect complex organisms, but viruses mostly keep bacteria in check!
So yes, I think those images are real….
Electron microscopy in its basic form, of which the EM part of your post seems to be describing, is almost 100 years old.
Since then, there have been so many advances in both magnification, and sample preparation.
Using a scanning transmission electron microscope (stem), with abberation correction, we are now able to image material down to the atomic scale.
Also, while crypto-sectioning (or “freezing” as you called it), is still used in many sample preps, there are multiple procedures used to prevent the formation of ice crystals which would disrupt the cellular structures.
While you mentioned specifically that “spikes” are created through the preparation process by damaging the cell wall, there are numerous images out there of different viruses that don’t have said spikes.
Nowadays we have correlated light and electron microscopy (CLEM) which allows live imaging to see how viruses interact with other cells and replicate: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1046202315001668
Edit: “cryo-sectioning” not Crypto-s…
Yup—if I recall correctly, in the same video when the shot was fired nobody dropped down, or ran out of there. They knew it was staged and kept walking around like retards.
Years ago, I personally witnessed a (gang) shooting in public, and once a shot rang out, a crowd of 100 people was completely gone or hiding under cars (me included).

We did it frens!
