I don’t even know what stars look like or hits sounds ilke. I have absolutely no Pop cultural reference. When everyone was watching Game of Thrones, I had no idea what it was about and whatever trailer I watched looked like some soft-porn laden heroic fantasy shit. I would sometime love to have grown in a redneck family and ignore my own misery, but yet I am here and I exploit any minute I have to try things that actually are of interest to me. Sorry for the strange mood today. It’s gonna be better after my performance evaluation this afternoon: meeting some guy who has no idea what I actually do and how I make shit work because I still work the same way for the previous company whose service was outsourced to my current company. It took that guy 2 months to agree to this obligatory yearly meeting. Only the project managers who usuallly bypass my hierarchy to get me know how valuable I am.

In 25 years here, I was always trusted to perform dificult technical tasks, but only once to lead people. This makes me sour at times to think I have to work alone on issues my chef doesn’t have a clue about.
They want to see me in the office but every time I get there there’s no room for me and wherever I land, there’s a bunch of guys videoconferencing without headsets which makes this environment loud (and smelly).
I believe I am some kind of Adrian Monk without Nathalie… At least I have a well-paying job.🥺
