The one thing that has always frozen me on this line of thought is the taste and smell dissapearing. Haven't even touched the part that aids isn't even a real thing, they had no clue what caused t cells to die in positive patients until the 2010s and found that later stage hiv that had infected many cells cause them to just self implode. Cdc definition of aids is having one of like 30 other diseases and testing positive for hiv much in the same way covid is done now.
