They have been trying to start a war for years. Arresting President Trump would certainly give them what they want. How easy would it then be to pass legislation banning guns in the event of potential civil war.

I agree with a lot you are saying. However, I am not convinced the wife only found out recently to the extent of his sexual activity. I still believe the Gates are protecting their wealth and through divorce she takes 50%+ out of any potential liability Bill has caused. “Watch the wives” is a phrase that has been used in the past. Time will tell.

The Gates are protecting at least half of their wealth. If he gets convicted of a serious crime then he may have his assets seized and be liable from lawsuits from victims. Give half of his wealth to the ex-wife (no prenup?) and you’re still in business.
